Underwater Saw
![]() | In order to be able to cut disassembled high-activity reactor core components under water, Babcock Noell developed an underwater saw unit in which all saw residues remain in the packages by means of appropriate filtration. With the help of the saw, fuel element racks were cut to barrel length. The cutting residuals were particularly sucked off and catched together with the cut parts. |
