Toroidal Vessel and Stainless Steel Structure for the RFX Experiment

The RFX Experiment is a toroidal device where a ring of plasma is confined by a magnetic field in the field pinch configuration.

The aim of the RFX Experiment is the investigation of plasma for fusion. Babcock Noell supplies the toroidal vessel and support structure. Intensive testing of electrical properties had to be performed.
