DHBW studies – The combination of theory and practice

In cooperation with the Mosbach University of Cooperative Education we can train you to become a Bachelor of Engineering

Our DHBW studies offer a good alternative to studies at a university or specialist college.

However, we don’t just want lightweights who will say yes to everything. There is no art to following the crowd. Young people help to shape the future and we aim to prepare them for the working world of tomorrow. This is why we are always looking for qualified junior workers.

We are offering the following courses of study:

• Electrical engineering
• Mechanical engineering
• Mechatronics
• Construction engineering - façade technology
• Project engineering
• Process engineering
  

The DHBW studies:

DHBW studies consist of alternating theory and practice phases. DHBW students spend 3 months at the Mosbach University of Cooperative Education and then come to the company for the same period of time. Student gain the necessary theoretical knowledge tailored as precisely as possible to the practical nature of the occupation.

Foundation in reality

The Mosbach University of Cooperative Education combines scientific studies with a practical training in the work place. Alongside the specialist knowledge, students can gain a considerable degree of social competence. The practical experience helps them to make a fast and direct initial step into working life.

Learning in small groups

You won’t find cramped auditoriums and anonymity between students and lecturers at the Mosbach University of Cooperative Education. Students learn in groups of between 20 and 30 people. The intensive care of the lecturers increases the learning enjoyment and motivation and contributes considerably to an effective course of studies.

Short studies

DHBW studies take just 3 years and conclude with a Bachelor of Engineering. During this time, a course of studies offering the highest possible level of training is conveyed. The studies aren’t usually extended.

The combination of acquired specialist knowledge and comprehensive practical experience as well as a rigid and efficient course of studies offers attractive opportunities to the graduates of the Mosbach University of Cooperative Education. Today you will numerous DHBW graduates working in the boardrooms of famous companies.

Financial independency

For the entire duration of the course, students receive a monthly salary from their company, so they can concentrate fully on their studies.

Prerequisites:

Applicants must bring with them as a school-leaving qualification the

• ageneral university entrance qualifications or the
• general entrance qualifications restricted to certain subjects (i.e. the admission requirements for a course of studies at a technical university must be given).
• Note: An advanced technical certificate is not sufficient.

The following are advantageous:

• Advanced course in mathematics and / or physics as well as
• knowledge in English and French
  

Application periods:

Studies / training always start on 1st October of the respective year.

Your application should reach us approx. 12 months before the start of training.

The courses of study being offered can vary from year to year. You can inquire about our current job vacancies for which you can apply for studies as of July / August.
