The decommissioning and dismantling of a nuclear power plant requires a relatively long planning lead time for successful implementation. Already during the final phase of regular on-load operation, the strategy for decommissioning must be laid down. The strategy is worked out in more detail during the post-operational phase and is the conception planning for design, schedule and budget. The following design and approval planning, is the basis on which the dismantling approval is issued. Nuclear dismantling is carried out within the scope of the implementation planning.
