History Environmental Technologies

The roots of BNG are within the Noell Group, where BNG was part of their power plant environmantal service section.

This part operated under the well-known Noell-KRC energy and environmantal technology since 1981. The last owner, Babcock Borsig AG, merged this company together with other companies ad finally BNG was outsourced as a stand-alone company.

Noell-KRC energy and environmental technology has supplied FGD plants in total for about 19,000 MW installed power plant capacity in the period from 1981 to 2001.

During this period about 40 steel absorber systems (stainless steel / rubber lined normal steel) for FGDs and about 30 FRP absorber systems for flue gas cleaning systems have been constructed, delivered and commissioned.

Due to binding of major know-how carriers the experience of 20 years in process engineering and design of FGD was preserved in our company.
