For the discharging of horizontal collectors, in which sludge and filter resins are stored, Babcock Noell has developed and supplied a system with telescope suction pipe, negative pressure stream, separator (for air) and intermediate storage containers.

Thus the filter resins and sludge can be taken out of the operational containers to be analysed and prepared for temporary storage. Depending on the procedures of conditioning, cementing or drying units as well as filling stations can be attached.
